TEHRAN – Shining bright, Isfahan province, situated in central Iran, has came out on top of the tourism marketing ranking nationwide throughout the past Persian calendar year (ended in March).

“Isfahan province, took the top spot on the national tourism marketing and advertising ranking,” a local official in charge of tourism, speaking on Sunday, brought to light.
Alireza Habibi further elaborated that the ranking is based on marketing measures assessment among all the provinces within the country.
 The assessment processes, he further elaborated, included eight main and 25 sub-indicators.
Habibi in his concluding remarks, attributed the achievement to proper planning, efforts with an eye toward drawing inbound tourists, investments and researches in tourism target markets and promoting Isfahan as a tourism pillar.

Isfahan, once a bustling crossroads of international trade and diplomacy in Iran, has evolved into one of the country’s premier tourist destinations, drawing visitors from far and wide.
